FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Joseph C. Hinson Photography and Joe the Photog Dot Com are pleased to announce three new Limited Time Promotions. "These three images are all from South Carolina," Hinson said proudly. One is from my hometown and another is from the area I live in currently. They are three iconic images each showing a different aspect of South Carolina history."

The first image was made on Opening Day of the baseball season in 2011 at Carolina Stadium, the home of the then-reigning NCAA Baseball National Champion South Carolina Gamecocks. Starting pitcher Michael Roth has the Santa Clara player leaning back toward first as he gets ready to deliver a pitch. South Carolina pulled away late to win 12 to 5.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Joseph C. Hinson Photography and Joe the Photog Dot Com are pleased to announce three different Carolina Southern Railroad images are now for sale. "Now that we know the fate of the Carolina Southern, I felt it was a good time to revisit these photographs," Hinson said. It was recently announced that the R.J. Corman plans to run the railroad as their Carolina Lines Division.

"If I knew then what I know now, I would have made a better effort to get down and shoot this railroad before they shut down," Hinson said. "Still, I'm pretty pleased with the shots I have of them."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Joseph C. Hinson is pleased to announce his new domain name has gone live. Visitors can now peruse more than 550 images for sale at joethephotog.com. "It has a nice ring to it," Hinson said with a chuckle. "I really thought long and hard about what my domain name should be. I've been Joe the Photog on Flickr since 2006. At different times, that was also my handle at Railpictures. It just seems to fit. And it's easy to remember."

When you visit the new Joe the Photog site, you'll land on the home page of the web site powered by Fine Art America. "I've been a member there since May, 2012, so it should look familiar to long time visitors. But having my own domain name and pointing it to the Artists Website wing of FAA allows visitors to visit my site, search around for it and not be carried off of my images to another search as it would do on Fine Art...
